Yogi’s Cafe, a woman-owned, boutique beverage brand, was launching a revised offering of espresso beverages aimed at the on-the-go consumer. My goal was to elevate the existing branding with a stylized cohesive brand voice, packaging system, and product shelf presence that communicated vitality, simplicity, and freshness.
The client requested a retrospective, celebratory vibe with an array of styles. Evolving and expanding the existing palette of mocha and maize tones to include teals, vermilions and rich earthy tones, we explored vibrancy, form, and movement in a series of eclectic designs.
"Retro Wave," the first commissioned piece, offers a colorful, nostalgic retro strings of ornamental beads in an array of expanded brand colors. Diversity, connection and a sense of belonging were the overarching pillars for this theme.
This project allowed me to translate my broadcast, digital brand system and print expertise into the physical realm. I gained hands-on insight into how hierarchy and consistency impact shelf presence and consumer decision-making.
